Head of Research Training Group for AI (m/f/diverse)
The Head of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Mobile Robotics team in Berlin leads, drives and manages an AI graduate school consisting of AI engineers and PhD students. Take responsibility for building and maintaining networks with startups, innovation and standardization consortia, universities and boards. Cultivate a strong technical relationship with our OEM customers through successful project delivery that fosters trust and long-term customer retention.
These tasks await you:
Establishment and management of a graduate school and its staff
Establishment and exemplification of a quality-oriented management process
Initialization of technology studies on new AI technologies
Establish and lead an AI demonstration and test field to realize mobility scenarios
Build network with business units to gather requirements and organize rollout of results
Support business units in the proposal phase to exploit the innovative technologiesli>Establish long-term cooperation with external companies and research institutes with the aim of gaining new expertise
Completed degree in artificial intelligence (AI), computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or related field of study
At least several years of professional experience
Experience in leading teams
Preferred with experience leading and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students
Experience with methods, integration, implementation, and tools for AI
Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Customer and quality orientation
Very good English and German language skills, both written and spoken
Strength in implementing new tasks
Independent and goal-oriented way of working
Intercultural skills; work in international teams
Commitment, ability to make decisions and work in a team
Work location Berlin
