Defining and initiating of sourcing and procurement strategies and providing project support to ensure the long-term, cost-effective supply of materials. From case to case, initiating purchasing processes and executing approaches to problem-solving to secure local objectives.
In addition to sourcing for the respective category responsibility, to drive spend automation through increasing catalogue procurement or ME59 in driving overall procurement effectiveness.
Sourcing, contract and price negotiations for purchasing requests from the plants to contribute to the profitability of the company. Analysis and controlling of contractual agreements to prepare renegotiations/subsequent negotiations, initiate appropriate measures and guarantee supplies.
Initiating and expediting supplier quality improvement programs and alternative source of supply (in conjunction with partner functions, such as Engineering, Supplier Quality Management, Logistics, etc.) to win and develop the best suppliers and to establish an optimum supply chain.
Regular contacts with interface partners to recognize developments (in market, demand, etc.) and exert influence accordingly. Conduct market intelligence study and management reports accordingly.
Degree in Mechinecal, Eletronics or Supply Chain Management is preferred, ideally supported by a technical background .
5+ years of working or involved in a purchasing/procurement function or 3+ years of working as mechanical or molding who has strong interest to transfer to commercial position.
1-2 year of Project and Process experiences
Preferred having working experience in a multinational environment.
