Job Description

Our Engineering Consultancy Service focuses on vehicle electrical, electronics and software design, development and integration. We support automotive manufacturers with innovative engineering solutions from vehicle concept through to after sales and diagnostics services.

As Radio Frequency Compliance Engineer you will develop and implement new business processes to improve efficiency in achieving and integrity of maintaining Radio Frequency compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with the certification team to understand RF legislation changes that affect engineering.

  • Take ownership of specific compliance subjects and manage to conclusion.

  • Maintain day-to-day communications with engineering handling RF legislation and related questions.

  • Track RF certification status and ensure engineering keep all RF systems/parts certified.

  • Report compliance progress and budget spend against targets.

  • Attend external seminars/conferences highlighting current significant issues in relation to RF in the automotive industry. Job Requirements

  • A degree in Electrical or Automotive Engineering

  • The role would suit a Technician in a similar field.

  • Radio Frequency technical and compliance knowledge an advantage but not essential.

  • Proficient in Excel & Word.

  • Cross business communication skills, being able to communicate with people who have high or no knowledge on the topic of Radio Frequency.

  • Able to maintain self-organization.
