The Business Area ContiTech develops, produces and markets products, systems and intelligent components made from rubber, plastic, metal and textiles. These products are used in mining, the agricultural industry, railway engineering mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive industry and other important sectors of the future.

You have the global responsibility for all Business Unit Mobile Fluid Systems sales activities for assigned key customer.

You are responsible for all Business Unit Mobile Fluid Systems related strategic discussion and high level negotiations (sales magnitude or cross-regional) for assigned customer group Explanation.

Your challenges

  • Strategy and planning (forecasting, budget/SPL) for assigned key customer to support profit targets.

  • Drive to remove internal and external customer obstacles

  • Ensure "one voice to the customer" representation during quotation phase and commerical negotiation in alignment with segments

  • Steer & screen contract management process

  • Harmonize the internal quotation process with the customer rules, standards, expectations, and requirements and be responsible for all general commerical topics (e.g. open book policy, Fixed Price clauses)

  • Handle customer escalations / issues & specific requests suchs as claims, contract mgm, accounts receivables, quality, warranty and delivery

  • Lead and steer the annual price negotiations and customer business plan fulfillment process

  • Initiate and conduct further cross Segment synergy potentials (e.g.Fixed Price (F/X) price negotiation, warranty, technical topics)

  • Lead budget planning process for assigned customer

Additionally, will serve the role of Customer Coordinator for the ContiTech Automotive Competency Center (ACC).

Job Requirements

  • About you *

College bachelor’s degree either or engineering or B to B marketing

More than 5 years experience in sales / project management or engineering

At least 5 years experience in automotive industry

At least 3 years’ experience working with Renault and understanding of Renault’s systems and processes

Multi or international experience

French native speaking and fluent English

WOULD BE A PLUS

Japanese language skills

Experience working with Nissan and understanding of Nissan systems and processes

Interpersonal Skills: (Communication, Presentation Skills, Intercultural Knowledge)

Very good knowledge / expert in negotiation

Drive tasks involving multi-disciplinary functions.

Natural leader – team leader, team player, team captain
