Global Mobility Services Consultant (m/f/diverse) -limited until 12/22



Job Description

The position contains the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • End-to-end coordination of global assignments within the EMEA region in accordance with the relevant international assignment standards; continuous optimization and improvement of such standards

  • End-to-end process responsibility, utilizing the latest Assignment Management Software "AssignmentPro" - from assignment preparation to successful repatriation (incl. consultation of business/HR/employees, calculation of assignment salaries and assignment costs, contractual setup, etc.)

  • Ensuring compliance with legal requirements on all aspects of the assignment (e.g. labor law, immigration law, tax law, social security law)

  • Providing professional guidance to employees of all levels being assigned to countries within the EMEA region based on relevant global assignment standards

  • Professional consultation and cooperation with local HR departments, global HR professionals and management stakeholders worldwide

  • Dedicated country responsibility and continuous process optimization incl. risk assessment (i.e, labor, immigration, tax, social security regulations)

  • Market Intelligence: Reviewing and monitoring the latest global mobility industry practices, technology and market trends and conducting evaluation on possible integration to the existing organizational framework

  • Creating relevant analyses, reports and statistics in MS Excel/Power Point or using comparable applications (e.g. PowerBI)

  • Actively managing global strategic projects

  • Driving process improvement related initiatives in partnership with regional and global team to achieve operational excellence (e.g. annual salary and bonus processes, system enhancement topics, etc.)

  • Stakeholder Management: Service-coordination with external providers (and authorities) including monitoring services and improving collaboration processes. Cooperation with internal departments (e.g. labor relations, corporate tax, travel)

Job Requirements

  • Academic degree in International Economics, International Business Administration, Psychology with a major in Human Relations (HR), (Labour, Tax, Immigration, Social Security) Law or a comparable qualification

  • Several years of work experience in Assignment Management, Global Mobility Service Industry, international HR Management or Compensation and Benefits as well as solid experience in Consulting and Project Management

  • Strong Knowledge and demonstrated ability to assess risks implied by International Tax and Social Security Law as well as International Immigration and Labor Law

  • Profound knowledge in assignment management procedures and policies as well as latest market trends (e.g. Host-vs. Home-Based Approach, Virtual Assignments and Work from Anywhere, Job versus Employee Mobility, Global Employment Companies, latest tools and technology, etc.)

  • Elaborate Experience and strong affinity to data management and data analytics tools (e.g. PowerBI), preferably also “AssignmentPro” or comparable Assignment Management Technology/App Skills

  • Established Global Mobility Network

  • Fluent English and German language skills (written and spoken), further language is an advantage

  • Self-confidence, problem-solving skills as well as intercultural sensitivity

  • Integrity and strong team player with excellent communication skills

  • Strong dedication and ownership

  • Creative, innovative and strive for continuous improvement
