ContiTech, a division of Continental, is one of the world’s leading suppliers of technical elastomer products and is a specialist in plastics technology. ContiTech develops and produces functional parts, components, and systems for machine and plant engineering, mining, the automotive industry, and other important industries. Our Indiana, IN location is seeking a Sales Manager to join our team for Independent Aftermarket of Commercial Vehicles.

• Reports to the regional Head of Sales – CV IAM

• Represents the organization as the primary commercial interface between ContiTech and the assigned customer base to ensure complete customer satisfaction

• Drives to deliver strategic plan goals aligned with the corporate values, our mission statement and vision

• Undertakes regular customer visits and interaction with purchasing, product management, marketing and all relevant functions while establishing cross functional network of relationships in core customer functions

• Pursues new customers and/or product opportunities in line with strategic plan

• Strengthen and expand distributor channel according to strategic plan

• Executes all sales tasks related to order intake, acquisition, quote process and customer satisfaction

Job Requirements


• Bachelor's Degree in Business (or similar field) or Engineering

• 5 years minimum of relevant work experience

• Solid understanding of the commercial vehicle or automotive or aftermarket/distributor business model

• Three years of account management experience or 5 years of proven customer interface and commercial experience

• No previous leadership required

• Willingness to travel 50%; some international travel.

• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will only sponsor internal Continental employees for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

• Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.


• Previous commercial vehicle experience

• 7 years of relevant work experience and degree preferred
