Customer QMPP Position



Job Description

QMPP is a member of the project team with increasing participation beginning with G50.

QMPP is responsible for quality in production (FF) as counterpart to the Quality Manager Project (QMP) during relevant development phases and full responsible in series production (after G90).

  • Arrange that all quality related and safety relevant aspects during the development & launch process are covered in production (internal, supplier and customer);

  • Pro-active input into product and process design (according to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP))

  • Lead the product requalification process according to Control Plan.

  • Contribute to and submit PPAP package to the customer.

  • Create Control Plan together with project team based on D/P FMEA and prototype/sample Control Plan.

  • Planning of quality activities (PPAP, Control-Plan) related to changes in production.

  • Customer communication and approval.

  • Contribute to manufacturing approval for component introduction process and release (e.g. PCN/PTN)

  • Support in development and maintenance of P-FMEA.

  • Identification and tracking of quality related findings, before they affect the external customer.

  • Ensure that processes are followed as defined according to Quality Gates, status meetings, APQP, launch readiness review.

  • Ensure that escalations are initiated in case of deviations. Initiate Q-Alert

  • Support the release of tooling, equipment.

  • Process qualifications and process capability studies according to the specific procedures, including statistical evaluation, evaluation and decision of capability results.

  • Provide in cooperation product specific training to the employees.

  • Provide inputs related to product traceability concept.

  • Provision of all quality related costs for the calculation and budgetary purposes.

  • Lead the customer complaint management activities.

  • Support & perform internal and product audits.

  • Coordinate improvement projects.

  • Provide quality reports which must contain the implementation status of measures and results, also in case of deviations, in order to meet planned targets. Job Requirements

  • University degree and relevant professional experience

  • 3 + years experience in automotive/electronics, manufacturing and quality activities, customer interface

  • At least 1 project (launch and/or series) coordinated from quality side

  • Knowledge of all manufacturing and test processes

  • Problem solving skills

  • Quality analysis and reporting skills

  • Knowledge of FMEA and control plan

  • Knowledge of internal flows and procedures

  • Knowledge of quality standards ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5, IPC A610 class 3 Knowledge of statistics SPC, MSA

  • Experience in audits MS Office

  • Knowledge of English

  • Quality tools (APQP, PPAP)

  • SAP

  • Lean certification

  • Six Sigma knowledge

  • Project Management experience is a plus
