The Position
The Summer Internship Program offers a 12 week hands-on internship for students who are interested in working in a manufacturing environment. The Internship Program targets students enrolled in programs that relate to the field of Engineering. Every intern will be assigned to individual projects in their department and one group project on which they are evaluated. In addition, they will support other daily tasks and projects. During the internship, the interns will gather in-depth knowledge of:- how a large manufacturing facility (more than 3,600 employees) works- the interfaces with other departments- project work
Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited degree program in one of the following fields: Industrial Engineering
Students must be at a minimum a sophomore in standing, with the exception of those in a formal co-op program who may be hired as a freshman.
All students must have good academic standing (minimum GPA of 2.8) at the university.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
