Senior System Engineer
Defining the system architecture for low or medium complexity products, with support from the discipline architects (HW, SW and MD)
Creating the documentation for own area of responsibility, according to the process
Responsible for safety relevant products following special requirements development methods (e.g. ISO26262)
Responsible for de-composing the system into system components and into disciplines, for own projects
Contributes in research collaborations / contributes to intellectual property analysis / patent application
Ensures that Security & Privacy concepts are chosen and implemented according to the industry standards and state of the art (e.g. SAE J3061, Microsoft SDL and ISO 21434 as soon as available)
Candidate must possess at least a university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Automatics, Mechanics or relevant professional qualifications with 2 years relevant experience with multinational company
Strong technical understanding – software, hardware / electronic circuits with the ability to read schematics
Analytical skills (systematic approach, capability of abstraction and simplification, recognize dependencies, weaknesses and risks, understand the use, boundary conditions and fields of interacting SW components)
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skill — to communicate effectively with across departments, technical experts, production, different management levels, suppliers and customers.
Knowledge of system engineering tool (e.g.: IBM Rational DOORS, Rhapsody, JiRA) and modelling skills using UML
Experiences with Japanese customers would be an added advantage
Experiences in vehicle architecture knowledge to understand the product context
Knowledge/experience on Functional Safety and Security and Privacy would be an added advantage
