Treasury Expert – Credit Risk Management (m/f/diverse)

Job Description

For the new treasury department of Vitesco Technologies we are looking for a treasury expert (m/f/diverse) with a comprehensive understanding of finance and treasury

related processes and methods. In this position we offer the possibility to actively participate in the design of strategic orientation and decision-making processes for Vitesco’s treasury.

• Responsible for risk management during the product life cycle

• Responsible for initiation of decision-making processes and implementation of prevention measures to avoid financial losses

• Building and maintaining business relationship with stakeholders

• Design, creation and maintenance of the credit policies matching the compliance and audit requirements, developing and maintaining processes to manage receivables and resolve overdues

• Reporting of credit risk exposure and development of solutions to reduce exposure risks together with the business responsible before they occur and once they have been identified

• Communication and correspondence with sales, local credit managers, credit agencies, and other involved parties to manage credit risks and resolve credit related issues on a case by case basis

• Leading the credit management related processes worldwide and coordinating with regional Management in Asia and the Americas

• Supporting the escalation processes to resolve overdues Job Requirements

• Academic degree in economics with a focus on finance, controlling, accounting or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in treasury or a related financial department / advisory

• Ideally experienced with credit management software and processes

• Strong analytical skills and understanding of statistical risk management measures and KPIs

• Project management skills desirable

• High affinity for IT / treasury management systems

• Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken)

• Good German language skills (written and spoken)

• Strong communication skills
