About The Role

The Technical Sales Support position is the key point of contact between an organisation and it’s clients by answering queries, offering advice and introducing new products.

They will also support Key Account Managers and Sales Managers in all aspects of their business.

Responsibilities

  • Deal with general enquiries through Contact Locator and Vibration Control enquiries and Vibration Control distributor enquiries with the Sales Engineer.

  • Attend Continental Surface Solutions biweekly lab meetings with Jaguar Landrover and Continental Surface Solutions.

  • Book lab enquiries for Jaguar Landrover.

  • Monitor the sales email account daily.

  • Support with coordinating customer data such as volume data and program timing.

  • Work with external product distributors / partners.

  • Conduct market research for Industrial and Automotive business.

  • Complete volume forecasting for JLR and other UK manufacturers and report into Key Account Manager.

  • Responsible for vehicle development timing for ContiTech UK.

  • Support with coordinating market intelligence.

  • Responsible for Continental Surface Solutions quality issues, returns and performing root cause analysis with team in Germany.

  • An Engineering or Science degree or similar qualification

  • A background in sales or business development within a professional environment.

  • Experience in sourcing leads and liaising with prospective customers.

  • Conducting market research and maintaining good relationships with existing clients.
