Compensation & Benefits Specialist



Job Description

1) Provide technical and operational support and coordination on compensation and benefits programs and projects between Group Reward team and local HR teams across countries in Asia region

2) Collaborate with country HR contacts to support country compensation review projects and proposals to ensure alignment with corporate guidelines and market practices

3) Conduct job evaluation (Hay methodology) to review job grading for new and existing positions in line with global grading structure and guidelines

4) Manage compensation and benefits surveys, rewards benchmarking and market positioning analysis in coordination with survey/consulting companies and country HR teams

5) Support review of country salary structures in conjunction with the annual salary and merit review cycle

6) Conduct research and market trend analysis to identify best practices and business-oriented reward solutions

7) Responsible for data quality and data integrity of compensation and benefits plans and processes related to Group Reward policies and guidelines

8) Support Group Reward Leads to advise countries on corporate policies and guidelines on compensation models, short term incentive plans and long-term incentive programs

9) Support any other ad hoc Rewards related assignments and projects

Job Requirements

1) Graduate in Human Resource/Economics/Finance discipline, or its equivalent

2) 3-5 years of relevant experience in compensation and benefits function

3) Preferably with experience in regional compensation & benefits or related support services

4) A highly analytical mind with superb attention to details and excellent statistical skills

5) Pro-active and hands-on with a creative mind to want to do things differently when required

6) Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and a fast pace environment
