Job Description

Under the direction of the Quality Manager, Lead

Quality Assurance Specialist or the Group Leaders,

the Quality Assurance Inspector monitors and

inspects areas for adherence and enforcement of

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Quality

Assurance Inspector is responsible for adhering to

the SOPs, inspection instructions and work

instructions that are in effect, by assuring the quality

and quantity of product produced. The Quality

Assurance Inspector will keep inspection/work area

clean based on 5S methodology and complies with

company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

required.

Experience: Minimum of 1-year quality inspection experience (or related) preferred. Audit experience is

preferred.

Technical Skills: Computer skills including Microsoft

Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP

experience preferred. Basic math skills required.

Knowledge of tools including Vernier calipers, go/no

gauges, templates, etc. Working knowledge of hand

held measuring equipment.

Other Skills / Abilities: Must be able to work in a

demanding customer focused environment and

prioritize responsibilities to meet customer and

organizational requirements. Strong oral and written

English communication skills are required. Ability to

deal with all levels of the organization effectively,

must be able to work independently and be able to

prioritize. Forward thinker with ability to deal with

situations of an urgent nature.
