Job Description

  1. Coordination with plants, suppliers and OEM/ IAM customers & Ensure smooth delivery of material as per orders in optimum time in the best economical way; ensure correct picking, packing and dispatch to customers, warehouses and branches for all segments

  2. Ensure optimum manpower planning, making report of import shipments & stock v/s orders & also coordinating with production to ensure material availability in the events of preventive & shut down maintenance

  3. Maintaining of monthly information system & various notes for approvel for freight rate to submit to management, complete management of import shipments

  4. Material management as per customer requirement & orders, work closely with sales and production team

  5. Booking of sales orders in the systems based on customer purhase orders & provide the order confirmation to customers; maintains correct and latest prices in the system, maintains correct customer information in the system

  6. Coordinating for making invoices and for other dispatch related documentations and formalities such as quality certificate, road permits of each item & also issuance of credit & debit notes against commercial complaints

  7. Coordinating with freight forwarders for proper flow of vehicles & other issues & also ensures timely submission of freight bills to finance with proper backup docs for transporters payment; end to end coordination between suppliers, freight forwarder and CHAs for clearing of import shipments in a timely manner

  8. Verification & reconciliation of stock with auditors & maintains production planning control in every set frequency- Inventory Management

Job Requirements

Graduate with Diploma in Import Export Management, or Work Experience of around 10 years in the field of Imports + Exports/

Working Knowledge of SAP - MM & SAP SD
