Job Description

Software Engineer for Test Automation Development responsible for providing tools and solutions for automated validation and verification of software for engine control modules.

Main responsibilities: Analysis of software functional requirements; test cases specification; design and Implementation of scripts. for SW test automation; execution of automated regression testing, analysis and reporting of results.

Additional responsibilities: collaborate in the definition of new automated test methods for electric signals, communication protocols and all events related to engine control; support in definition of test coverage.

Job Requirements

• Engineering graduate in electronics, mechatronics, computer systems or similar.

• Experience on software validation, manual or automated testing of embedded systems.

• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming, scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.) or Java programming.

• Basic experience in microcontroller architecture, programming and debugging embedded code in ANSI C or assembly language.

• Good foundations on analog and digital electronics, including ability to analyze schematics and timing diagrams.

• Software Development for embedded automotive systems
