THE COMPANY
ContiTech, a division of Continental, is one of the world's leading suppliers of technicial elastomer products and is a specialist in plastics technology. ContiTech develops and produces functional parts, components, and systems for machine and plant engineering, mining, the automotive industry, and other important industries. Our Winchester, Virginia location is seeking Industrial Electricians to join our team. The ideal candidates will be involved in all aspects of plant mechanical equipment electrical function.

THE POSITION
• As an Maintenance Technician perform preventive maintenance and routine lubrication
• You will troubleshoot problems for the repair of existing equipment
• This position disassembles and reassembles machinery to repair or replace parts to repair equipment in a timely fashion
• Your shift will be structured on night shift (7pm-7am) on a four on four off schedule with training availability on daylight (7am-7pm) in the first introductory months.

Job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Completion of a high school diploma or GED
• Previous maintenance technician experience will be considered in lieu of formal documented technical training
• Must be able to work in industrial environment
• Must have working knowledge of power transmission equipment
• Must be able to work in industrial environment
• Must be able to work at elevated heights
• Able to read and work from drawings and schematics
• Must be authorized to work in the US without visa or other sponsorship
• Must be willing to work nights and overtime
• Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Completion of a formal certificate training program in hydraulics, pneumatics or welding
• Working knowledge of power transmission equipment
• Experience with welding and metal fabrication
